Technical Theatre

The field of technical theatre is a promising and exciting one as a future career path. CF Theatre program offers a number of technical theatre courses, including an introductory course in basic stagecraft and electives in stage lighting, scene painting, sound production and beginning costume and make-up. Students who are interested in technical theatre also have the opportunity to work behind the scenes on all of our major productions under the auspices of our faculty, staff and guest consultants, as well as a part of marketing, front of house and other administrative duties related to the production.
